Saturday, Aug. 9, 11 - 4 Annual Sierra Club Summer Picnic – Davis Creek Park Save the date! Potluck, barbecue, games, & more! As the date draws near, more information will be forthcoming. The following are not Sierra Club sponsored events, but other volunteers opportunities where you can help our local community's environment: Adopt – A – Park Volunteers are needed to plant rose bushes at Whitaker Park on Saturday April 26 from 10:00 am. – 12:00p.m. and flowers at Bicentennial Park on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Invasive Weed Pull Help combat the war on weeds, with an invasive weed pull at various parks date and time still TBA.
